The goal of this community was to create an unrivaled destination for adults aged 55+ who desire luxurious lock-and-leave homes with a focus on downstairs living and age-in-place amenities. Auberge at Del Sur is an all-in-one community that provides residents with a resort-like lifestyle and 12 floorplans that focus on single-story living. The homes feature superb building materials and customization opportunities for buyers used to custom-home living.

Located in the center of the community is a 10,000+ square foot clubhouse that fosters connections with indoor-outdoor spaces, a gym with virtual instructors, lap pool, sports courts and more. The gated, three-neighborhood community is private, yet part of an adjacent master planned community with 14 parks and 11 pools. Homes on the exterior or the community enjoy views of surrounding hillsides, while interior homes have easy access to the community’s resort-style clubhouse.

All plans focus on first-floor living and dedicate more square footage to the most-used areas of the home, like the great room, kitchen and master suite, and all homes have downstairs master bedrooms, most with direct outdoor access. Some plans offer a second-level bonus space which homeowners are utilizing as a “cave” or to house visiting grown children.

The community is being released in 12 phases, with each phase rapidly selling. To build excitement, the builder allowed hundreds of prospects to weigh in on floor plan designs during information nights. The sales team met an interest list goal of 3,000 sign-ups before opening and the grand opening and first phase release drew 5,000+ attendees.

Three distinct neighborhoods draw different segments within the 55+ demographic, most from the master-planned community and surrounding area. Neighborhood A draws married or widowed buyers looking for an age-in-place home, neighborhood C attracts executives downsizing from an expansive, multi-acre home, and neighborhood B is “just right” for price-conscious buyers who require more than the smartly-designed 1,276-1,860 square foot homes of neighborhood C.
