Ludlow Cove Cottages is a new neighborhood in Port Ludlow, Washington offering a selection of woodland, park-front and waterfront homes. The community balancea the desire for a walkable street with the need for great water views and access to nature. The design and location of the units contribute to the sociability of the neighborhood by presenting their best frontage inward towards the street while on the interior of the home, the main living space is oriented toward the water. Community gathering spaces, trails and side loaded garages also emphasize walkability and community engagement.
Townsend Model
These intimate one to two-story, cottage-scale homes include an expansive first floor containing the master suite. The homes are designed utilizing 360 degree architecture and incorporate universal design principles to accommodate Aging in Place. For example, additional space between the kitchen island and cabinets allow for better circulation in the kitchen. A mixture of high quality, modern fixtures and finishes and a vibrant color pallet compliment the architectural design.
Chimacum Model
Eco-friendly cabinetry and specialty millwork emphasize smart design by transforming small areas into practical living spaces. The homes use of both horizontal ducted and wall mounted mini split units for multi zone heating and cooling and ample windows ensure that daylight can penetrate into all areas of the home. The builder utilized Advanced Framing Techniques that reduce the amount of building material and increases energy efficiency and high performance fixtures and energy efficient appliances are incorporated throughout the homes.
Kingston Model
Each cottage boasts custom details such as Craftsman accents, Shaker cabinets, designer paints, and high-end fixtures and finishes. The galleries below showcase a variety of models including the Townsend Model which won a 2016 BALA Platinum Award as well as an award for Best in Region.
