Home of the Week: Peach Street

This home is located on a 60-foot wide lot in a 1950’s era bungalow on a cottage-lined street in the historic district of Fredericksburg, Texas.

The design goal was to create an open and inviting home for infill building sites and focus on a completely different housing arrangement, in order to allow for as much usable outside space as possible.

The unique planning of the property that moved the home to the back of the lot and framed the L-shaped plan allows for a true courtyard living experience and expands the home’s usefulness for the year-round accessible outdoor weather.
