Connecting with Home Owners Across the Country

In celebration of NAHB’s 75th Anniversary, we are crossing the country and connecting with families who live in the homes our members build. Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing their stories and encouraging consumers to find out how they can start building their own American Dream.

Our first two stops take us to Tampa, Fla., and Bozeman, Mont. In the Sunshine State, Amy and Matthew Clark share their story about how NAHB members Homes by WestBay and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage helped them build their dream home.

“We both work from home so we needed a place to work where we could close the door and not hear screaming kids. And we also needed something open for our family and friends,” said Amy. “My favorite part was probably designing the house,” she recalled as Matthew described the ease of working with Homes by WestBay.

In the Big Sky Country, Julia and Bruce Roberts fondly describe working with NAHB member Eugene Graf of E.G. Construction after they got married and decided to return to Julia’s Montana roots.

“We had some advice … build where you’ll always go home to,” Julia remembered. And now? “It’s our oasis,” she beamed.
