This classic, southern, traditional home brings back memories of times past with its full width welcoming front porch, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Situated within a quaint traditional neighborhood, the home fits perfectly into the setting of the community where you are just a few minutes stroll to the Town Square for shopping, dining or coffee.
The main floor is designed for casual living and features a large combined family, dining and kitchen area, and a luxurious master suite, all with views onto a private courtyard. Outdoor living was an essential design element in this home. The courtyard, with its perfectly placed water and fire elements, can be viewed from all interior areas and is uniquely arranged to feel as if it were simply another room of the home. Two spacious bedrooms, as well as a butler’s kitchen, round out the main level of the home.
As an additional benefit, the upper level features a loft with a separate suite allowing interior design flexibility for a private guest suite, home office or craft studio. Beautiful and extremely functional from the inside out, the overall design concept is suited for a wide market segment.
The home boasts a custom built front entry door, window trim, and crossheads, a standing seam metal roof, fully operable wood louvered shutters, and an expansive 8-foot deep front porch. The designer used wood butt board ceiling and walls in the family and dining rooms and antique heart of pine ceiling beams in kitchen and dining rooms. The master bedroom opens with a beautiful wood-arched entry door to sloped wood ceiling over master bedroom sitting area lit by celestial lighting fixtures.
