Home of the Week: Skye Palm Springs Plan One

The concept of this design was to unify classic mid-century modern aesthetics with updated luxuries and to customize choices for sophisticated buyers with varied preferences.

A spectacular mountain backdrop frames this enclave, which is situated in a historic Palm Springs neighborhood that is within walking distance of dining, retail, entertainment and cultural offerings.

The arrival façade’s butterfly roof, clean massing and tracery stone generate the understated strength and elegance of Plan One’s mid-century vernacular, and an intriguing floorplan reiterates exterior geometry.

Sliding glass panels generate the mid-century hallmark of seamless indoor/outdoor relationships, and a second master suite, formal dining and versatile layout options provide inviting hospitality and entertainment spaces.
