Our Home of the Week is Palos Park (Ill.) Project!
Settled on three acres of plush oak trees, the site offers lovely views of Mill Creek, hiking and biking trails. The main goal for this home design was to maximize natural light throughout and bring the natural beauty of the outside in for a family of six to enjoy.
Natural elements were used to build the home to help it blend with the surrounding area. All main gathering rooms in the house back up to the natural woods. Large picture windows without grills were added to the stairways to bring the outside in, frame the natural landscape, and bring in maximum natural light.
