The Best in American Living™ Awards (BALA) is now accepting entries through August 24, 2018.
BALA is the building industry’s premier residential design awards program. BALA spotlights the most creative and talented building industry professionals who have redefined design excellence for homes and communities nationally and internationally. Winning projects showcase what building industry professionals need to know to set their product apart and hit the right mark with today’s highly educated and discerning home buyers.
BALA entrants do not need to be members of NAHB to apply.
With over 50 categories, including some changes and new additions for 2018, there is a place for your award-worthy project. BALA awards projects in the following areas:
- Single-family
- Multifamily
- Affordable, including single- and multifamily
- Remodeling
- Community
- Interior design
- Specialty, including the Game Changer award and Design Detail
Also new this year is the awards dashboard, making it easier than ever to enter. Applications have been streamlined for a better user experience, and the new duplicate feature allows applicants to quickly copy an application to another category (think single-family custom and custom kitchen) or to another awards program (for example, a BALA Single-Family 55+ to the Best of 55+ Housing Awards).
